Expect Great Things

Philip and I had the opportunity to go to Mt. Calvary Wesleyan Church this past Sunday. Mt. Calvary is located in Bloomfield, Indiana which is east of Sullivan. It is a small church way out in the country.
Before going to the church this Sunday, I had been praying for God to speak through Philip and I as we spoke and that we would be an encouragement to the people of Mt. Calvary. Knowing that we were going to a small church, I had also prayed that God would do great things even with the small number of people we were expecting. We arrived at the church to find that we were speaking to 6 people that evening, 2 which were children. We were a bit surprised because we had expected just a few more people, but we were still ready to share and encourage this congregation toward missions. The Lord was with us as we spoke and we felt like the Holy Spirit did use us that evening even among the 6 people who were there. Well, God is faithful and DOES do great things even among the little! After the service we spoke with some people and found out that the church would like to support us! We did not expect this because the size of the church, but God showed himself faithful once again! God can so many times do great things with the small! We encourage you to expect great things from our God because He is a great and powerful God! Thank you Mt. Calvary Wesleyan Church for allowing us to come share this past Sunday! We are so encouraged that you are a part of our support team!
