They Came in Time for Christmas!

Look what came in the mail today! Dad Gormong drove over from the church to drop this package off to us...it was our Visas for Russia---approved and ready to be used come January 15th! Thank you for your prayers!

Cookies

One month from today we will be on a plane bound for Russia! Can you believe it? No, I can't believe it. Especially as we have done close to no packing in the last few weeks. Yikes. In the midst of filling out some paperwork, last minute ministry visits, Christmas, and thinking about packing, Philip and I had a chance to spend a little Christmas fun together! Yes, we baked some Christmas cookies! I wish I could say they were all for us, but we actually were baking them for our Wednesday evening church service tonight. The decorating was still fun and we even ate a few leftover cookies!

(Philip's creation)

We are so thankful for each of you and your investment in our lives as we depart for Russia in a few weeks. We are overwhelmed by the Lord's provision, blessings, and grace this season. Thank you for your faithfulness to the Lord in your lives.

Blessings,
Philip, Kara, Adalynn, Little G

NEWS, NEWS, NEWS

2 Things I found on our financial reports recently!

The first thing is above:
We are 98% funded! We are still waiting on 3 more faith promises to come through, so hopefully that will put us at 100%! The Lord is faithful, isn't He?!

The second thing is this announcement we have been waiting to see:

Philip & Kara Gormong

Intern missionaries Philip and Kara Gormong have successfully completed home ministries and have purchased tickets to Russia for their first term of missionary service. They are scheduled to depart North America on January 15.
