The Coming Weekend...

This coming weekend Philip is once again off by himself to share with 2 different churches about our call to missions. This time he is not traveling to southern Indiana, but all the way south to our old stopping grounds, Mississippi! Philip will be with Trinity Wesleyan Church for their annual missions conference Saturday evening and Sunday morning. He will then be driving 3 hours east near the Mississippi-Alabama border to spend Sunday evening sharing with Mosley Bridge Church. We are so excited for these opportunities to share with these churches in our previous home state. The pastor of Trinity Wesleyan went to seminary with Philip at Wesley Biblical Seminary, and the pastor of Mosley Bridge Church worked with Philip in Mississippi during Philip's time working at the Salvation Army.
Again, we are asking for your prayer during this weekend. Pray for safety as Philip drives over 600 miles drive to Mississippi, as well as for the Lord to be at work in the hearts of the people in these churches. Pray also for Adalynn and I as we spend the weekend in Ohio with my family. Pray for me as I will be parenting Adalynn alone for the first time since she was born (especially for the nights...Philip is an amazing help during the nights and I will be spending a few nights by myself!).
We are praying for one of these churches to take us on as supporting missionaries.

We appreciate each and every one of you, our supporters! We could NOT be as far as we are in our support raising without you. We thank the Lord for each of you and thank you for your obedience to give in faith each month as well as pray without ceasing for us.

Blessings,
Philip, Kara, and Adalynn

Sylvania Wesleyan

We want to thank you for your prayers for us (specifically Philip) this past Sunday! Philip traveled about an hour and half to Sylvania Wesleyan Church here in southern Indiana on Sunday. My brother, who was here to see Adalynn, traveled with him, which was a nice for Philip. The morning went well and the Lord was present with Philip as he shared about our call to Russia for the first time by himself. Adalynn and I were sad we were not able to go with him, but we supported him in prayer that morning as we stayed behind. We know that the Lord was with Philip as he shared and we thank you, our faithful supporters, for your prayers for us! Though the church has not committed to support us as a church, we are hopeful and praying the Lord touches the hearts of those who were in the congregation that morning.
Thank you, Sylvania Wesleyan for hosting us on Sunday! It was a blessing to worship with you Sunday morning!

Thank you Sylvania Wesleyan

PRAISE THE LORD!

We received 2 new faith promise givers recently from previous churches we have visited last month! Praise the Lord! We are 24% funded and praying for more!!! Our home church, Faith Wesleyan, is having a missions meeting this Thursday to decide the amount to give in faith promises to their supproting missionaries. Please be in prayer for those making the decisions. Pray for wisdom and guidance. We are so excited to see how the Lord is going to provide for us through our home church!

Blessings,
Philip, Kara, and Adalynn

p.s. We are doing well as we continue to adjust to our new life as parents. We still need your prayers for perseverance, patience, endurance, and strength!
