Adalynn wants to learn Russian!
We have 1 1/2 weeks of class left...but who's counting? Really, we all are a bit weary at this point, but we are going to persevere until the end...(if we make it to the end!) Classes have been going well. Philip and I feel like we are understanding more and more every day. Of course there are days that are better than others, but overall we feel like we are learning a lot. The teachers are wonderful here. They really have been challenging us in every way. Wheww!!!
Last week we received a list of churches to contact that could potentially support us. (Another missionary family is coming off the field, so there are some churches that will have "openings" in their missions' budget!) We contacted the churches last week and did another follow up call this afternoon. There are a handful that seem promising. There is one church that will be meeting THIS WEEKEND to discuss their church's decision regarding us and potentially supporting us. Will you join with us in praying that this church will feel the call to support us financially? We know the Lord is the one that will speak and move in these people's hearts this weekend...it won't be us convincing anyone. Thank you for praying with us as we continue to seek the Lord in prayer to financially provide the funds to get to the field by September 20th.

RLM party on Friday night!
On Monday we had a chance to meet up with some seminary friends! It was a great time! One of our friends is also a missionary with our missions agency. It was encouraging to talk and encourage one another!
