A few Sundays ago, Philip had the opportunity to go to a neighboring village. People who are a part of our church, have a small group in this village. The group is growing and people are asking more and more questions about God. Philip, along with a few others from our church planting leadership team, took time to hold a seminar in this village. They left mid-morning to catch a bus to the village. They each taught short sessions on different aspects of the Faith---the Trinity, Servant Leadership, the Church, and Repentance. In between the sessions they share lunch and tea with one another.
The people who attended felt as though the seminar was a tremendous help. There are basic questions that we take for granted knowing. Many of these people have grown up not knowing about Jesus and so to wrap their minds around all of this information is difficult sometimes.
We are thankful to continue to be apart of Grace of Christ Church, and are excited to see how they will grow in the coming months. Please continue to pray for this group in this village. We pray that soon they will become a church of its own, going out and continuing the work of spreading the Gospel!
