Waiting

You are probably wondering what we are doing as we wait for a final departure date. We are done visiting churches since the holidays are approaching. We are 94% funded and so excited to be over the "financial clearance" mark! We are still shooting for 100% funded by the end of the year. Only $4,000 more in Faith Promises to help us reach this goal! That is 4 people giving $100 a month! WOW! Anyway, since we are done traveling on Sundays, we are enjoying Sunday mornings and evenings with our dear home church, Faith Wesleyan. On a day to day basis this is what is going on in the Gormong house...

Philip is brushing up on his Russian, trying to study an hour each day...(ok, ok, I am too!)

Adalynn is getting ready to have tea in Russia....

And I am trying to figure out what to bring to Russia...(ok, so not all of this stuff is going, don't worry!)

Again, we are so thankful for where the Lord has brought us through this journey of support raising. Thank you for being a part of this ministry! We are praying that you are receiving the joy and rewards of investing in ministry!

Blessings,
Philip, Kara, Adalynn, and Little G

p.s. We get to find out if Little G is a boy or girl right before Christmas!

  1. Okay, so I'm not gonna lie; the thing I'm most excited about is whether this little baby is a boy or girl! However, I'm psyched about an actual departure date, but NOT jealous of having to sort through all that stuff and make decisions on what's going! UGH!

  2. you are SOOOO lucky that you get to store all the stuff at someone's house. I don't even remember what we have in boxes. I know too much...but it is crazy to think we are paying for storage and it may come out ruined. I sure hope not!

And before Christmas...what a great present! Excited for you guys!

    Jai you with the Russian!
