We have arrived in South Carolina for language school! Russian classes begin on Monday morning at 8:30am. We have already been working on our homework for Monday...which was given to us just 3 days ago---we are hitting the books hard. We arrived on Wednesday afternoon a little discouraged at our living arrangements, but over the past few days we have worked on making the house work for us. We have been cleaning, rearranging, and making it our home for 2 months. The Lord has provided though and He is continually reminding us to trust Him and letting us know that He is with us. Adalynn is having a harder time adjusting to sleeping during the day, but she has done wonderfully through the nights, which we are so thankful for! Mom Gormong flew in last night in Charlotte! We all went to greet her at the airport! She was a joy for weary souls last night! We are thankful that she is here with us for the next week as we begin school and adjust to our new life. Please be praying for us this week as we begin classes. We went to the school Thursday afternoon...our expectations were slightly off as what to expect of the school, but we believe we are here to learn and gain more about Russia no matter the disappointments. You all are a blessing to us! Thank you for your encouragement and prayers. Please help us be able to get 75% financially funded by July! We are at 55% right now and need a little over $48,000 more in faith promise commitments. Click on BECOME A FAITH PROMISE GIVER on the right to join our team financially.
Blessings,
Philip, Kara, and Adalynn
p.s. The Russian Alphabet has 21 consonants and 10 vowels!
