This bridge is the bridge that led us into the state of West Virginia! Philip, Adalynn, and I traveled to Weirton, WV this weekend for a missions convention with Chapel Hill Wesleyan Church. It was a great weekend! We enjoyed the time spent with the pastor and his wife in their home. Friday night we met the congregation by enjoying a variety of different Russian food with them! We had a chance to share with them about ourselves during this time. Saturday morning we met a few people from the congregation for breakfast at a local restaurant. We enjoyed a breakfast buffet, and had some time to share prayer requests. That evening we shared a little more about our call and about Russia. This morning, Sunday, we enjoyed Sunday School with the young adults. Then, Philip shared with the congregation about the need in Russia, and more about our passion for the Russian people. We are still waiting to hear about the Faith Promise commitments, but we did have over 10 people join our prayer partner team. Thank you for your prayers!
Thank you, Chapel Hill Wesleyan, for a wonderful and encouraging weekend!

Adalynn "talking" to the girls...

Adalynn with Pastor Taylor and Mrs. Taylor, our gracious hosts!

Adalynn, using her feet to "wish" herself home and out of her carseat...no one told her she needed her red shoes!

Almost home...
I'm looking forward to hearing what the Lord has done in the area of Fath Promise Givers through this church in West Virginia! As I'm praying this weekend I sense the Spirit giving me a strong feeling of hopefulness! We'll see!
