Driving North

This coming weekend, we will be traveling north to Lafayette, Indiana. No, we won't be going to Purdue to cheer for the Boilermakers. Instead we will be attending Schuyler Avenue Wesleyan on Sunday morning. Philip and I will be doing a Sunday school class in the morning as well as presenting about the need in Russia to the whole congregation during the morning service. We are excited about meeting the members of this church!
We got connected with this church through one of Philip's friends, Steve, from seminary. Steve is also a missionary with Global Partners. Even though he is from Canada, he was still able to get us connected with the pastor of this church! Thanks, Steve! We are also looking forward to seeing one of our supporters, Micah. Schuyler is not his home church, but Micah is from the Lafayette area, and has decided to make a trip to the church service to see us! We are excited to catch up with Micah! Philip graduated with him from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2005, and also had a chance to work with him on the leadership team at IWU. It's going to be another busy weekend, but we have been praying that the Lord will pave the way for us and work on hearts to be open to supporting this ministry.

Blessings,
Philip, Kara, and Adalynn
