Dessert with a Mission

This past Friday night we had "Dessert with a Mission", a part of Faith Wesleyan's missions conference. This is a night set aside as a more personal time with people from the church, gathering at someone's house for an informal time with the missionaries. We were at the Evans' house, surrounded by about 35 other people from the church. It was a wonderful experience talking with people and sharing a time of openness and prayer with our church family. Sueellen and Randy were wonderful hosts! Sueellen even had a room prepared, in case I went into labor while there for the evening!! We have been truly blessed and encouraged throughout this week's missions conference. We are looking forward to the banquet tonight as well as the wonderful Faith Promise and Life Commitment services tomorrow morning and evening. Thank you for your prayers for this week! We are praying that the Holy Spirit is moving in each person's heart this week as they see the world in light of the Great Commission.
